Northey (she/her) is a T’karonto based bedroom producer, songwriter and indie-dream-pop musician. Originally from Calgary, Northey completed a Bachelor of Music in Humber College’s Jazz program. Since, she has fused her love of lo-fi with her theoretical jazz knowledge to make a sound of her own. Through influences like Mitski, Porches, SZA,+ Alvvays, Northey’s semi-maximalist, genre-bending, animal-crossing, queer, indie dreamscape transports listeners through the authentic tales and emotions of her mind.
